General Charges

Standard Landing Fees

Aircraft up to 3 tonnes £13.50 per ½ tonne or part thereof
Aircraft over 3 tonnes or part thereof £36.00 per tonne
Aircraft over 40 tonnes Standard Landing Fee for first 40 tonnes and 1/2 rate thereafter

Applies to Standard Landing Fee only.

Crew training and test flights pre-booked only: 40%
Touch & Go’s 50%
Additional approaches 50%

First 2 hours (touch down to take off) FREE
First 3 tonnes, per ½ tonne per day or part £4.60
Thereafter, per tonne per day or part £10.00

For airport’s promulgated fire category is as follows:

Category 4 available every day (Category 5 on remission)

Higher category is available on request at the following rates.

Fire Category 5 £670.00 per movement
Fire Category 6 £820.00 per movement

If a rotation is within 2 hours 15 minutes of scheduled time of arrival, only one increase in category charge will be levied during promulgated operational hours.

Cancellation for any movements subject to charges, giving less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a 50% charge.

For movements outside of promulgated airport hours (07:00-20:00), the following charges will apply per hour or part thereof:

Blackpool Airport welcomes pre-planning application discussions on wind farm, photovoltaic / solar array and any other developments or issues that might have an impact on aerodrome safety / operations.

Examples of such items are not exhaustive but could include lighting, creation of potential bird hazards, cranes / tall equipment and other construction issues within the vicinity of or the safeguarded areas for the aerodrome.

In order that the airport authority can provide a service to a consistent and high standard, a charge is levied. This charge will also apply to small individual domestic wind turbines with a hub height of less than 15 metres or domestic roof mounted Photovoltaic panels.

All advice given is provided in good faith based on the information offered by the developers.

Advice is given without prejudice to the statutory function of Blackpool Airport in relation to the submission of a planning application.
